My fascination for reptiles started when I was a young boy. While other kids were tuning into “Astro Boy” and “Thunder Cats” I was happy and content watching National Geographic documentaries and eating Scary O’s.

Growing up my family would take summer trips to our house in Florida. This was the perfect time for me to do some of my own research and discovery. I would catch Anoles and King snakes in the forest behind my house and try to spot Alligators and Turtles in the neighboring canal. I must have given my mom a scare because she allowed me to purchase a Gecko to keep my mind off of the Gators.

I can recall a time when my brother was inches away from stepping on a black widow spider on our pool deck. Luckily I spotted her and moved my brother out of the way. In this instance staying inside to watch television paid off.

I had a pet Leopard Gecko named “Karma” for over ten years and a Columbian Boa Constrictor named “Sylvester”. It wasn’t until the summer of 2001 when I discovered Crested Geckos on an American website while I was searching for the perfect college pet. Their prices were relatively high compared to today so I saved up all my change and purchased my first two. I ended up with two males. A green dalmation named “Balls” and a Dark Harlequin named “fire”. Soon after I purchased two more Juvies that turned out female. An Orange Dalmation named “Freckles” and a High Yellow Tiger named “Banana”. They are my perfect pairs.

I am proud to say I am unofficially the first Canadian to produce a full Pinstripe in Canada as well as a heavy spotted super dalmation. Without knowing what a pinstripe was at the time I sold it! It was a mistake but I soon learned from it.

After further researching the different morphs and colours of the Crested Gecko I have gathered and created a top of the line group of Crested Geckos here in Canada.

For me keeping and raising Crested Geckos is all about diversity. I enjoy collecting unique morphs and colorful specimens. I often compare my collection of geckos to an artist’s palate of colour. Everyone has a different aesthetic appeal when it comes to colour. I try and provide a unique selection of high quality Crested Geckos that makes your experience finding a new pet easier. My collection consists of: Red, Yellow, Orange, Green, Black, Grey, Cream and Lavender Crested Geckos. I believe this is what distinguishes my collection from the next guy.

My goal is to contribute healthy and outstanding morphs to the worldwide Rhacodactylus Community. Wherever possible I will send you a healthy Crested Gecko. Whether you are looking for one as dark as a shadow or as bright as rainbow I am here to shorten your search and provide you with something wonderful.
